Se non ti sei iscrittə per favore non contattarci, la lista d'attesa contiene già oltre 300 persone quindi non è più possibile inserirsi. ATTENTION This is a very popular trip; in previous editions the number of participants was already several hundred within the first few minutes after the form was opened. For this reason, in order to ensure a fair selection and correct filling in of the registration form, participants will be selected randomly after the form is closed. Il form aprirà venerdì 16 Febbraio alle ore 12:00 e chiuderà domenica 18 Febbraio alle ore 18:00. Oltre tale orario non saranno ammesse iscrizioni. Visto che la selezione è casuale, l'ordine cronologico delle iscrizioni does not affect the registration, consequently you have all the necessary time to fill the form appropriately. Incomplete registrations or registrations with incorrectly filled fields will not be considered.

🚂 A day on Europe most famous train

Il Red Train, nicknamed so by the flaming color of its wagons, it is a jewel that belongs to the Rhaetian Railway, and since 2008 it has become Unesco World Heritage.

Along a breathtaking route the highest train in Europe, also known as the Bernina Express, climbs the Alps without the use of the rack.

🛤️ Programme

🕢 Departure will be from Milan (at the station of Lambrate) ath 7:30 am. We will take the bus to Valtellina (in Tirano), where we will go to the Rhaetian Railway station (which, by the way, is a small Swiss exclave in Italy).

🚂 At Tirano station we will take the characteristic red train, with booked places 😎

🗻 After the train ride we will arrive in Saint Moritz (in the upper Engadine), one of the most famous winter resorts in the world. There will be enough time to visit the town and the lake.

At around 3:30 pm we will take the bus to Chiavenna, characteristic village in the Chiavenna valley: we will have time to visit it and by dinner time we will all go to a typical crotto and eat typical food like pizzoccheri, polenta, sciatt and the local wine!

🌆 After dinner, the bus will take us back to Milan, arriving late in the evening (around 11pm)

🛂 Switzerland is not in the European Union! Before registering, please make sure you have all your documents in order to travel abroad.

💶 Prices and information

The initiative is realised thanks to the contribution of the Politecnico di Milano. However, in order to cover the costs of transport and dinner, a registration fee of€35.00 + 50€ di cauzione – che comprende dunque tutta l’attività, il trasporto A/R, la cena e l’assicurazione.

The amount can be paid directly to us (at any Politecnico di Milano Campus) or by bank transfer.

In both cases, you will receive all information as soon as your registration is successful!
